Job summary

Danfoss seeks a Product Applications Engineer to be the technical expert for data center liquid cooling, including quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies used in hyperscale environments. This onsite role in Utica, NY offers a salary range of 70–105K based on experience and industry knowledge.

You will drive qualification activities, support engineering and sales teams, and develop customer-ready technical materials to accelerate design wins and reliability in cooling systems.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering.
• Experience with data centers, cooling systems, or fluid conveyance preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, drawings, and system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components within data center architectures.
• Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers.
• Manage product qualification activities: timelines, feasibility, validation testing, and documentation.
• Execute quotation and part activation with Sales: cost, lead-time, CRN, and setup in systems with revision control.
• Deliver training, webinars, and technical content while translating market trends into roadmaps.
