Job summary

Danfoss, a maker of advanced liquid-cooling solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for our Utica, NY facility. You will be the primary technical partner to Operations, owning production processes, driving stability, and enabling safe, efficient on-floor work.

You’ll troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and support product launches to ensure robust, capable lines. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to boost uptime, reduce waste, and sustain process control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in assembly, machining, or industrial product environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment setup, and process control.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and ERP/MRP software.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to technical expert for assigned production lines, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting for equipment, tooling, and process issues.
• Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and visual aids for safe, efficient production.
• Lead continuous improvement by analyzing production data, performing root cause analysis, and boosting efficiency and reducing waste.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to improve uptime and resolve technical challenges.
• Support the launch of new products and engineering changes with capable processes and ready-to-go equipment.
