Job summary

Danfoss seeks a Product Applications Engineer to become the technical lead for data center liquid cooling components, helping qualify, specify, and deploy hoses, fittings, and assemblies in hyperscale environments. You will influence product strategy through customer program insights and support engineering roadmaps with onsite and remote collaboration.

Your role requires 5+ years in applications/engineering, strong communication, and experience with data-center cooling or fluid systems.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering.
Experience with data centers, cooling systems, thermal management, or fluid conveyance preferred.
Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components within data center architectures (racks, manifolds, CDUs).
Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers with regular touchpoints and onsite support.
Manage product qualification activities: timelines, feasibility, validation testing, and item trackers.
Execute quotation and part activation with Sales: cost, lead-time, CRN assignment, and product setup in systems while maintaining documentation and revision control.
Deliver training, webinars, application notes, and customer-ready technical presentations; translate Voice of Customer into product inputs.
