Job summary

Outro Health is building software to support deprescribing and clinical care while scaling engineering to match growth. You will be the Lead Engineer, owning the production software, making key architectural decisions, and shaping the engineering org as it grows.

Expect hands-on coding, prototyping, and mentoring a growing team. You will operate in a small, high-scope team, collaborate with product and clinical staff, and work during Eastern hours from NYC or remotely in the US/Canada.

Qualifications

• Senior or Staff Engineer with leadership in early-stage tech/healthcare.
• Own engineering as a function, hands-on still.
• Experience building and shipping production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate critical systems across clinician tools, patient data, and infrastructure.
• Own technical direction, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering as a function.
• Ensure compliance and security for sensitive patient data.
