Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Sub-System Technical Lead for Engine Cooling Systems in Auburn Hills, MI. This role manages the cooling system program from concept through end of life, coordinating with design, program management, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

It requires strong leadership, communication, and cost/weight analysis skills. You will drive packaging, validation, supplier management, and tooling kickoff while supporting plant development and launch activities onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with automotive cooling/HVAC components at OEM or supplier.
• Ability to influence and lead others without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must manage multiple concurrent activities.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% in North America.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical program manager for one or more vehicle lines.
• Lead cooling system design through concept to end of life.
• Coordinate issue resolution across engineering, manufacturing, and program management.
• Lead launch activities and triage for cooling systems.
• Represent cooling systems on the launch team and communicate status.
