Meta's Infrastructure organization is seeking a Manager to lead energy analytics strategy for our global data center portfolio. You will oversee forecasting models and analytical frameworks that drive capacity planning, budgeting, procurement strategy, and rate design across Meta's data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in energy analytics or related fields.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience.
• Hands-on experience analyzing energy usage data, tariffs, and wholesale market data.
• Experience owning forecasting or analytical models for budgeting, capacity, or investment decisions.
• Experience scaling an analytical capability and leading analytics professionals.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.
• Strong communication and data visualization skills.
• Experience developing narratives for multiple stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience training and mentoring analytics professionals at different career levels.
• Experience prioritizing across competing stakeholder demands and communicating trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of energy analysts across data center portfolio analytics and related initiatives.
• Own hiring, onboarding, capacity planning, and team structure as the function scales.
• Develop ICs and emerging team leads and establish career pathways.
• Lead with accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as energy rates and usage expert for Meta's global data centers.
• Own development of models to forecast energy usage, generation, and cost.
• Set analytical standards, including methodology review, documentation, and QA.
• Support development of new rate structures for data center locations.
• Strengthen uncertainty characterization with scenario views and variability.
• Build systems measuring exposure to price and volume volatility, in partnership with Finance.
• Create standardized tooling, data pipelines, and reporting for scalability.
• Consolidate energy data into durable data products with clear ownership.
• Maintain data controls and escalation paths for data reliability.
• Deliver monthly and annual summaries of energy metrics to leadership.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure to track design, capacity trends, and load forecasting.
• Provide energy expertise to internal teams and coordinate requirements.
• Represent energy analytics in cross-functional planning forums with clear recommendations.
