Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed team focused on user-mode security architecture for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will own major components and guide design across OS subsystems, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectures, ensure code quality, and collaborate with multiple sensor teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a distributed engineering team shipping systems-level software.
• Strong background in OS internals, memory management, concurrency and performance.
• Hands-on systems programming in C/C++, with exposure to Rust or similar languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own your team's roadmap and delivery from design through release across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Guide cross-platform designs touching file system, processes, memory, and networking subsystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, testing strategy, and safe rollout practices.
• Collaborate with peer sensor teams and present progress at deliverable conclusions.
• Coach engineers on career growth, feedback, and performance conversations.
• Build a culture of ownership and independence across the team.
