Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a US/EU distributed team focused on user-mode security architecture for Windows. You will own major components, guide cross-platform features, and ensure high performance with cost-conscious design choices.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with sensor teams to deliver scalable OS-level capabilities across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Strong C/C++ and OS internals experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineering Manager leading a distributed team to ship major features and releases.
• Track record of shipping systems-level software (agents, kernels, drivers, OS components) at scale.
• Hands-on systems programming experience and OS internals knowledge, preferably on Windows.
• Comfortable reviewing code and reasoning about memory management, concurrency, and performance.
• Experience with C/C++ (Rust is valuable).
• Experience driving alignment across teams and organisations.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to improve workflows and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow engineers across the US and EU.
• Own your team's roadmap and delivery from design through release.
• Guide designs for cross-platform features touching file system, processes, memory, networking.
• Collaborate with peer sensor teams and present progress after each deliverable.
• Set the bar for engineering quality: design/code reviews, testing strategy, performance, safe rollout.
• Coach engineers through career growth and performance conversations.
• Build a culture of ownership and independence.
