Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Lead Endoscopy Tech for day shift to support the endoscopy suite alongside physicians and nursing staff. In this role you will facilitate patient care during endoscopic procedures and handle routine equipment maintenance and supply coordination.

The successful candidate will have at least a GED, 3 years of endoscopy technician experience, and CPR certification. Strong technical and teamwork skills are essential to ensure safe, efficient procedures and patient

Responsibilities:

Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy suite, performing technical and some patient care duties. Assumes additional responsibility for the ordering of the endoscopy suite supplies, maintaining specialty equipment, communication with equipment representatives and orientation of new nurses and techs to proper use of specialized equipment.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience as Endoscopy Technician with excellent technical skills in therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP Required

Licenses and Certifications

• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certified Upon Hire Required
