Job summary

County of Mendocino in Willits is seeking a skilled Employment & Training/Case Management professional to provide leadership and mentoring to staff delivering CalWORKs Job Services. This role involves interviewing clients, assessing barriers, and coordinating referrals to housing, health, and education resources.

Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are encouraged for applicants. Under supervision, you will use an automated caseload system, develop employment plans, and monitor progress while

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience as an Employment & Training Worker II or
• Three years of full-time experience in vocational guidance, employment counseling or placement services with college credits, or
• Associates degree or equivalent with two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training or lead staff where applicable.
• Develop and implement procedures for employment and training programs.
• Perform job placement activities and refer clients to services and resources.
• Monitor participant progress and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Conduct interviews and provide career guidance to diverse clients.
