Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Nursing Trainer to help our VEGgies grow. You will lead with curiosity, coach with compassion, and build confidence and careers in veterinary emergency medicine.

Your role spans on-the-floor mentoring to developing educational tools across VEG hospitals. You will tailor training to different learning styles, celebrate milestones, and ensure training aligns with VEG’s culture and emergency standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high level of knowledge in emergency medicine.
• Associate or higher degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the practice state; VTS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify individual and team training needs with leadership.
• Assess assistants and credentialed technicians through observation.
• Develop and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations, assessments).
• On-the-floor mentoring and strategic development across hospitals.
