Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Lead Emergency Technician to oversee the Emergency Technicians, coordinate orientation for new staff, and ensure timely completion of daily tasks. The role reports to the Supervisor of Emergency Services and emphasizes quality patient care with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years Recent Emergency Technician experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Preferred coursework/training: EMT, EMS, CNA1 and/or CNA2.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the work of Emergency Technicians and leads orientation for new staff.
• Manages stocking and cleaning of the department and completes daily checklists.
• Acts as a resource to other technicians and promotes quality patient care with customer service.
