Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto seeks an Emergency Lead Technician for the Adult Emergency Department. You will lead daily ED activities under an RN, perform direct patient care and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an Emergency Technician program, and 3 years of related experience with supervisory exposure. BLS certification is required. This is a part-time evening 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of an Emergency Technician Training program or equivalent.
• Three years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record and report patient information accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic care under RN supervision.
• Support ED operations, supply management and unit safety.
• Provide training and guidance to staff as needed and coordinate shift activities.
• Ensure timely communication with patients, families and staff.
