Job summary

Chloeta is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Emergency Management & Planning to lead technical planning, writing, and coordination for preparedness, mitigation, and response initiatives in Oklahoma City. The role manages project execution, client engagement, budgets, schedules, and QA with multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop emergency operation plans, hazard mitigation and continuity plans, and work with FEMA, NIMS, and local guidance while supporting business development and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of full time professional experience as an emergency management practitioner (preferred).
• Qualification as a Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) or Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), or ability to obtain in future (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical writer/editor for a variety of emergency management plan types.
• Coordinate with other emergency management professionals to complete tasks.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders in the production and approval of emergency management plans, which may include conducting public outreach and presenting materials.
• Prepare presentations and supporting materials for public meetings and workshops.
• Review and study emergency management standards, guidelines, and regulations to remain abreast of industry trends.
• Assist Business Development (BD) Group as an SME on emergency management.
• Coordinate with agencies and Tribes to meet compliance requirements.
• Facilitate monthly virtual meetings on project progress and prepare agendas/minutes.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients and partners and promote new business development.
