Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Embedded Systems Security Engineer to join our Systems Security Engineering Team in Baltimore, MD. This 100% onsite role requires active DoD Secret Clearance and SAP access prerequisites.

You will lead security analyses, ensure compliance with JSIG/DAAPM, develop and maintain Security Plans and POA&Ms, and collaborate across programs to deliver cyber security solutions for sensor payloads and mission systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or related field; 5+ years experience or Master’s with 3+ years; DoD experience preferred.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with SAP access ability required before start.
• Experience with system engineering for DoD platforms, sensors, or subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform security analyses; develop safeguards to enhance system security.
• Ensure compliance with JSIG/DAAPM and document procedures.
• Support ST&E activities with pre-test preparations and reporting.
• Develop and maintain Security Plans and POA&Ms; coordinate across programs.
