Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to drive System Security Engineering across the lifecycle, delivering secure architectures in line with DoD RMF, NIST and CNSSI guidelines.

The role requires active Secret clearance, DoD SSE experience, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Relocation assistance may be available and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university.
• Active DoD security clearance at Secret level or higher desired or required.
• Experience with system security engineering across DoD RMF lifecycle and cybersecurity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver secure system architectures per DoD, NIST, CNSSI and RMF guidelines.
• Support ongoing authorization efforts and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Serve as technical liaison for SSE activities across program teams.
• Assist in risk assessment, security requirements engineering and mitigation planning.
