Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is building a satellite-based internet network in Redmond, WA. The role covers end-to-end software development for embedded flight systems, from requirements to operations.

You will work on power management, hardware interfaces, command & telemetry, and autonomous control, collaborating across hardware teams to ensure robust flight software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages in a real-time OS environment.
• Architect, design, and implement software for satellite constellation.
• Interact with devices/electronics using I2C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, etc.
• Write drivers and system applications for flight code and flight management.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up and integration testing.
