Job summary
Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build cloud-native systems in Java and Python, using AWS to deliver mission-critical services for the Leo program. You will mentor teammates and shape the technical roadmap while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one language.
- 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems (patterns, reliability, scaling).
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Work with peer teams and customers to design suitable software systems.
- Develop cloud native software systems in Java and Python.
- Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly-available services.
- Design and develop performant software systems meeting mission criteria.
- Help onboard and mentor new team members.
- Lead technical roadmap definition and decide features to build.
