Job summary

RTX, including Collins Aerospace, is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join the Resilient Connectivity Products team. You will lead cybersecurity research, develop solutions for next‑generation connected platforms, and work with cross‑functional teams on complex technical challenges.

The role focuses on real‑time embedded software, datalinks, waveforms, signal processing, and cybersecurity. Onsite work and US citizenship required for the security clearance process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development projects focused on cyber security technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, communications, and systems engineers to develop and evaluate cybersecurity technologies.
• Support demonstrations and testing of new cybersecurity solutions and capabilities.
• Assist with technical proposals and government-sponsored R&D activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Collins and with customers to support project goals and objectives.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
