Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids) seeks experienced software engineers for embedded systems, cybersecurity, and communications to advance secure platforms in the Resilient Connectivity Products team. You will prototype and integrate cybersecurity technologies across multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has real-time embedded software, datalinks, waveforms, or threat modeling experience, with C/C++ and Python proficiency. U.S.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
• Experience developing embedded software using object-oriented design.
• 2+ years in embedded software, communications, cybersecurity, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development projects focused on cybersecurity technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, communications, and systems engineers to integrate cybersecurity solutions.
• Contribute to demonstrations and testing of cybersecurity capabilities.
• Assist with technical proposals and government-sponsored R&D activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Collins and with customers to meet project goals.
• Travel up to 10%.
