Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Software Development Engineer – Embedded HVAC Devices (Data Center) to drive the technical development of embedded software for advanced HVAC devices in data center environments. This role focuses on robust, secure, and efficient operation within critical infrastructure, collaborating with global engineering teams.

You will lead embedded software projects, guide cross-functional teams, design with REST APIs and OCP security, and ensure RTOS/Matlab/Simulink integration.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience leading embedded systems software development projects.
• Strong project management and technical leadership background.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, etc.).
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and REST APIs.
• Understanding of advanced security standards for critical infrastructure (OCP guidelines).
• Deep technical understanding of embedded systems, including hardware sensing and control.
• Strong knowledge of embedded platforms such as RTOS and Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of embedded software projects for HVAC devices in data centers.
• Guide and coordinate internal and external software developers to ensure high-quality output.
• Design and implement software adhering to advanced security standards, including OCP (Open Compute Project) guidelines.
• Integrate and manage data center-specific communication protocols, focusing on the Redfish REST API.
• Collaborate with other domains (I&V, Sensing, Hardware) to meet system requirements.
• Translate system requirements into software architecture and actionable technical tasks.
• Ensure seamless integration of features from embedded platforms (RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).
• Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
