Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, CT seeks a Software Technical Lead to direct embedded software for advanced HVAC devices used in data centers. You will guide cross‑functional teams, translate requirements into software architecture, and ensure robust, secure operations across RTOS and Matlab/Simulink environments.

You will implement secure design patterns compliant with OCP guidelines, integrate Redfish REST APIs, and collaborate with hardware, QA, and I&V teams to meet system goals.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years leading software development projects for embedded systems.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, etc.).
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and REST APIs.
• Understanding of advanced security standards for critical infrastructure (OCP).
• Strong knowledge of embedded platforms (RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of embedded software projects for HVAC devices used in data centers.
• Guide and coordinate internal and external software developers to ensure high‑quality output.
• Design and implement software that adheres to advanced security standards, including OCP guidelines.
• Integrate data center‑specific communication protocols, focusing on Redfish REST API.
• Collaborate with other domains to meet system requirements and translate them into architecture.
• Ensure seamless integration of features from embedded platforms (RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).
• Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
