The Lead Software Engineer will define software architecture, development strategy, and engineering standards for SBC-based products, providing technical leadership across projects. You will collaborate with hardware, systems, and software teams to integrate stacks from platform choice to validation, while solving complex embedded system challenges and shaping engineering capabilities across

Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Embedded Linux spanning bootloader, kernel, drivers, middleware, and user-space applications.
• Experience designing system software architectures for SBC-based or complex embedded platforms.
• Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot environments.
• Experience coordinating software with hardware teams and reviewing schematics.

Responsibilities

• Define the software development strategy, architecture, and standards for SBC-based products.
• Design scalable system software architectures and establish common frameworks and coding standards.
• Lead software engineering teams across multiple projects and ensure alignment with architecture.
• Develop critical software components and prototypes, providing hands-on leadership.
• Coordinate hardware-software integration, SBC selection, and platform optimization.
• Oversee low-level drivers, middleware, and application software integration.
• Define testing methodologies and validation strategies including EMC, thermal, and stress testing.
