Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Embedded and Real Time in Melbourne, FL. You will design, implement, and maintain embedded mission systems, integrate software across baselines, and work in an Agile Scrum team to deliver safe-critical software.

The role requires a STEM degree with 3–5 years of related experience, C/C++ and Python expertise, and familiarity with VxWorks/Integrity RTOS or RT Embedded Linux. DoD clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field with required related experience or higher degrees.
• Experience in C/C++ and Python for safety-critical embedded systems.
• Familiar with RTOS (VxWorks/Integrity/RT Embedded Linux) and software QA.

Responsibilities
