Technology Advancement Group (TAG) is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to architect and build software for next‑gen PNT products in Ashburn, VA. You will own from processor selection to shipped code, partnering with hardware and test teams to ensure performance and security.

You'll customize Android/Linux on embedded devices, lead board bring-up, and develop drivers and BSPs, while addressing power, boot, and system integrity in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Embedded Linux and Android customization on embedded hardware.
• Board bring-up and BSP maintenance with real hardware.
• Microcontroller firmware for 32-bit MCUs on bare metal/RTOS.
• Processor/architecture decisions for shipped products.
• Multi-core design, performance and power optimization.

Responsabilités

• Architect and build embedded software for next‑gen PNT products.
• Lead architecture decisions from processor to shipped code with hardware team.
• Develop drivers, BSPs, and low‑level Linux/Android components.
• Analyze performance, power, and security (secure boot, SELinux, dm-verity).
• Collaborate with hardware and test engineers to bring up boards.
