Job summary

Technology Advancement Group (TAG) in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to help take electronics from first requirement to a fielded product. You will work under the Lead Systems Engineer in a matrixed team across hardware and software, covering design, documentation, test, production and support.

You will design, document and test hardware and software components, write requirements and test procedures, and carry out verification plans.

Qualifications

• Electronics and hardware experience from design to production.
• Experience writing requirements, test specifications and CDRLs.
• Ability to work in a matrixed team across multiple projects.
• Ability to read and interpret customer requirements.
• U.S. person status and eligibility for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and test hardware and software components.
• Write assembly procedures, test procedures and run system tests.
• Develop verification and validation plans and supporting test docs.
• Participate in design reviews and manage ECR changes.
• Work on-site in Ashburn with a small team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, CM, QA and leadership.
