Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer for NPD Lighting & Lifestyle in Milwaukee, WI. You will design, prototype, and test embedded electronics while leading cross-functional teams to meet aggressive milestones and performance targets.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with UL/CE/ANSI standards. Domestic travel up to 10% is required; you will collaborate with global engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• MS in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics hardware and firmware for high-complexity projects.
• Develop test plans/procedures and test cases for new product electrical hardware and subsystems.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and risks across the organization; escalate as needed.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures and drive milestones to meet project metrics.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; grow capability to lead a small team.
