Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Project Leader for Embedded Firmware to manage cross-functional engineering programs. You will bridge firmware development, systems engineering, and new product development, driving milestones and delivering robust electronic platforms.

You will lead teams through agile hardware/software lifecycles, manage risks, and coordinate with executives to align strategy with delivery. Travel internationally is expected (5-10%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Results driven and deadline oriented; able to handle fast-paced, hybrid culture.
• Willingness to travel internationally (5-10%).
• Comfortable with Systems Engineering principles and architecting ecosystems.
• Capable of facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership over multiple moderate to highly complexity projects.
• Provides direction and engineering oversight to team members.
• Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams and management.
• Drive development of electronic platforms meeting cost, timing, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
• Escalate project or team issues timely and appropriately.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans; visualize project scope and interdependencies.
• Frame technical tradeoffs with Marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings and program reviews.
• Motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of project team members.
