Job summary

You will lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging efforts across hardware and software teams.

You will mentor firmware engineers, perform or oversee verification in lab environments, and ensure robust integration with analog/digital hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8–10+ years of firmware or embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in embedded languages such as C, C++, assembly.
• Experience delivering DO-178C DAL-B certified software.
• Familiarity with hardware interaction and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Meets objectives for safety-certified software per DO-178C.
• Applies knowledge to ensure subsupplier DO178C compliance.
• Provide technical leadership through reviews, design, and mentoring.
• Performs or oversees software verification in a lab environment.
• Support hardware/software integration with hardware teams.
• Design, develop, modify firmware across platforms using C, C++, assembly.
• Troubleshoot firmware and ensure functional reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for integration into systems.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation to uphold quality.
