Job summary

KinderCare is hiring a Teacher to guide and support early childhood classrooms, delivering the approved curriculum and fostering a nurturing learning environment. You will collaborate with parents to ensure the best care and education for children, and you will work with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality early education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading/writing speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
