Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classroom practice, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment. You will mentor other teachers, partner with families, and support center goals for enrollment and accreditation.

The role requires working with children, adhering to state qualifications, and maintaining CPR/First Aid readiness. This position emphasizes teamwork across centers and communities to deliver high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Must meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Partner with parents to support children's care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
