Job summary

Verathon Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electronics Technician II to lead the Electronics Lab, mentor technicians, and ensure efficient lab operations in a fast-paced R&E environment.

You will specialize in component-level soldering, read schematics, automate tests with LabVIEW, and design/test fixtures to support Neptune product validation. This role requires strong communication, organization, and self-direction. You may travel to domestic and international facilities and customer sites to provide

Qualifications

• Education: 2-year Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or Avionics.
• Related Experience: 7+ years minimum as a Technician.
• Soft Skills: Time management, self-starter, ability to multi-task, excellent verbal/written communication
• Special Skills: Advanced soldering/de-soldering at the component level, advanced computer skills, some programming proficiency (LabVIEW preferred), Windows/Linux Command Line/Terminal familiarity, use of electronic test equipment including Oscilloscope/Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, following test procedures, and test automation. RF background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and perform automated testing of electronic products and software for function validation, performance characterization, and failure mode identification.
• Design test circuits and fixtures and write LabVIEW programs as needed to automate testing.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits, systems, and test fixtures.
• Create and maintain documentation of product material lists, parts drawings, and other project data.
• Mentor/train less experienced technicians.
