Job summary

Mid-Continent-Controls is seeking an Electronic Sub Assembler to support production under the supervision of the Production Manager. The role involves soldering components onto printed circuit boards and sub-assembly tasks across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and process sheets, entering production data, inspecting parts, trimming boards, and operating pick-n-place and board-processing equipment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required.
• Experience with soldering through-hole and surface-mount parts.
• Read engineering blueprints and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Solders components onto printed circuit boards via hand or machine method.
• Reads manufacturing documentation such as blueprints, process sheets and assembly and schematic drawings.
• Receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment, and follows instructions.
• Examines parts for defects such as cuts, pinholes, or chips.
• Enters information on production records, logs or other report forms.
• Repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
• Performs assembly at the sub-assembly level of various products.
• Cuts wires and builds wire harnesses.
• Operates pick-n-place machines, solder paste machine, board washer, and oven.
• Performs self-inspection visually and with microscope.
• Cuts printed circuit boards and grinds edges.
• Applies conformal coating as required.
• Grinds plastic parts to fit product.
• Performs final-assembly in some products.
