Job summary

Denso Corporation in the United States (Southfield, MI) is seeking a Staff Engineer for Electrification System (Electrical Architecture) to lead the development of EV hardware solutions. The role focuses on EAxle, generator systems, inverters, and power electronics, with emphasis on vehicle energy management and system interactions.

The candidate will drive design trade-offs, lead technical discussions, and coordinate with NA and global teams to achieve performance, reliability, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware systems.
• Deep understanding of mechanical & electrical engineering, power electronics, motor and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems (EAxle/Generator, inverter, power electronics).
• Ensure seamless integration of EAxle/REEV components into vehicle architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Apply RCA, DOE, and FMEA to identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with global teams on design, integration, and testing.
