You will read blueprints, lay out work, develop material lists, schedule manpower, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals; the role requires strong leadership and effective communication with other trades.

Qualifications

• Must have 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership abilities to grow into a foreman role and coach teams of five.
• Strong understanding of a small, assigned scope of work.
• Ability to read blueprints, project specs, and schematics.
• Skilled in coordinating manpower and communicating with supervision.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality work meets highest standards and spec.
• Develop material lists from layouts and site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals by planning with the team.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit; install devices and panels.
• Read project drawings and lay out work, including underground layouts.
• Verify wire, conduit, and junction box sizing and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
