Upgrade Resources is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial, industrial, and large multi-family electrical installations in Houston, TX. This on-site, hands-on leadership role plans work, reads plans, and ensures code compliance while directing the crew to deliver safe, productive results daily.

The ideal candidate will hold a Texas Journeyman license, read blueprints, and manage safety, schedule, and budget.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrical license required.
• Experience leading a crew on commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication with crew, superintendents, and project managers.
• High school diploma or GED.

Aufgaben

• Lead and direct a crew on commercial, industrial, and large multi-family electrical installations.
• Plan the work, lay out the install from drawings, and ensure code, spec, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Read blueprints and drawings, then lay out and install as specified.
• Connect wiring, fixtures, and equipment to code, specification, and manufacturer requirements.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances before and during installation.
• Operate hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, cable vacuum systems, and similar equipment.
• Maintain certification for powder-actuated tools and JLG aerial lifts.
• Enforce jobsite safety, PPE compliance, and housekeeping across the crew.
• Track labor and material against the schedule and budget and report progress to the superintendent.
