Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, Inc. in McLean, Virginia is seeking a Lead Electrician to oversee maintenance and repair of medium and low voltage electrical systems, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, switchgear, generators, UPS, ATS, site lighting, and related equipment.

The role includes supervising electricians and fire alarm technicians, coordinating PMs, reporting results, and coordinating with the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• 5 years supervisory experience in electrical facilities
• Experience operating and maintaining switchgear, UPS, paralleling gear, and generators
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Supervises electricians and fire alarm technicians
• Schedules PM testing and maintenance for building electrical systems
• Provides direction, scheduling, and inspection of repairs
• Notifies customer about outages and potential issues
• Assists FM and Engineering Supervisor with scope and projects
• Reviews shop drawings for renovations and as-builts
• Maintains neat, safe electrical spaces and enforces company policies
