Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking an Electrician III to supervise and perform advanced electrical duties, including installation, preventive maintenance, and code compliance for multiple clients. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and adherence to Federal, State, and local codes.

The position demands six years as an Electrician with a Journeyman license, plus three-plus years of supervising experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License; six years as an Electrician.
• Three (3+) years of supervising experience and managing conflict resolution.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions; verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn additional programs quickly.
• Eight (8) years’ experience as an electrician (preferred) in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot controls and power electrical systems.
• Oversee removal and replacement of motors, starters, relays, fuses, and primary control components.
• Supervise and troubleshoot primary electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform high-level mechanical operations, repair, and maintenance to building systems including UPS, generators, PV systems.
• Interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances.
• Must be able to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
