Qualifications

Three years of experience or training in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

Leads stationary and assists in performing technical and highly skilled electrical maintenance on moveable and bridges that may include but not limited to maintenance and repair of bridge hydraulic systems.
Leads district and assist in performing electrical maintenance and lighting on all DOTD buildings, rest areas, blowers, projects that may include but not limited to lighting, restrooms, sewage plants, water wells, motors, compressors, and control equipment.
Assigns and inspects work done by Electrician and Specialists, inspects and reports work done by contractors to insure that all work meets NEC standards.
May utilize construction drawings for rehabilitation, retro‑fitting and troubleshooting.
May assist with specifications for new and replacement electrical equipment for bridges, may review electrical plans and makes recommendations for changes.
