Under general supervision, the purpose of the job is to perform advanced skilled journey level work combining activities in various mechanical and building trade areas: installation, operation, maintenance, equipment and fixtures, service and repair of electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning, heating ventilating, and plumbing systems. Employees in this classification apply considerable skills to perform trade tasks in a minimum of two (2) of the standard trade disciplines, e.g., HVAC, electrical, pump-mechanical, plumbing. Performs related work as directed. This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295.
