Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a lead engineer to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical power distribution equipment up to 15 kV. You will lead project tasks, write detailed reports, and coordinate with clients to define scope and pricing.

Qualifications include a BSEE/BSME or equivalent, NEC/OSHA knowledge, NETA exam, and experience with switchgear testing and power systems. Willing to travel up to 50% including international travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with BSEE/BSME or electrical technical schooling and several years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards.
• Passed NETA exam or equivalent certification.
• Strong background in switchgear testing up to 15 kV and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate relays, and use load recording instrumentation on projects.
• Lead on projects and write complete, detailed reports; process job billing.
• Develop proposals with scope, pricing, and man-hour estimates for clients.
• Take active role in business development and expanding Vertiv's footprint.
