Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an entry-level Engineer (BSEE/BSME) to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus. You will lead project activities, perform testing of power distribution systems, and prepare detailed reports.

The role requires travel up to 50% and occasional after-hours work. Qualifications include a relevant engineering degree (or equivalent), experience through school or military programs, and knowledge of NEC/OSHA/NFPA standards.

Qualifications

Graduate Engineer with a BSEE or BSME and no experience.
Electrical tech school or military equivalent with at least 3 years of work experience.
High school education or equivalent with four years of related work experience.
Knowledge of NEC and industry standards (OSHA, NFPA).
Passed NETA exam.

Responsibilities

Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems.
Troubleshoot, calibrate relays, and test through 15 kV class switchgear.
Test and troubleshoot moderately complex electrical systems and power metering.
Possibly perform simple power system studies (short circuit, coordination).
Prepare detailed reports and process job billing.
Participate in equipment labeling projects per standards and company procedures.
Assist in business development and client proposals, estimating man-hours and expenses.
