Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Electrical Testing Lead to oversee AC/DC functional testing of protection relays and MV switchgear. A technical degree and 8+ years of hands-on experience, including leadership, are required.

You will manage test plans, monitor schedules, and ensure accurate test reports while driving quality improvements and maintaining safe, organized work areas on Crown projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AC/DC functional testing on protection relays, MV switchgear, MV breakers, arc flash.
• Experience leading or managing a team of technicians.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures, NEC, IEEE Codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains testing schedule per project and production timelines.
• Monitors testing status and reviews project specifications and testing procedures.
• Reviews test plans vs schematics with technicians before testing.
• Reviews test reports and schematics for completion and adherence to procedures.
• Maintains copies of test reports and uploads to project folders in a timely manner.
• Creates and maintains test procedures and testing forms.
• Leads problem-solving to analyze quality failures and drive improvements.
• Ensures all team members follow testing standards and safety procedures.
