Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies seeks an Electrical Technician Lead to mentor technicians and lead projects, delivering safe, high-quality electrical work for our customers. This role emphasizes leadership and hands-on electrical expertise.

You will oversee daily activities, plan field work, coordinate with supervisors and customers, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A strong background in industrial electrical systems and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience with leadership or lead technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, motor controls, power distribution, and troubleshooting.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Must have the minimum personal tools outlined by the department tool list or obtain them within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of electrical technicians with guidance and expertise.
• Coordinate job assignments to keep projects safe and on schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues and direct resolution.
• Assist with planning field work and communicate progress to supervisors and customers.
• Review work to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
