Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Services, Inc. in Saco, ME is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead electrical engineering design, relay settings, system studies, testing, and commissioning for power systems across utilities and industrial facilities.

You will mentor junior engineers and drive protection & control solutions, plus field startup and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate has strong project leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in SCADA interfaces and relay

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology).
Experience leading engineering teams and client-facing technical efforts.
Experience with protection/controls design packages and relay settings.

Responsibilities

Develop Protection & Control design packages including diagrams and relay settings documentation.
Perform relay coordination, short-circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies.
Lead engineering projects and provide technical direction to teams.
Ensure designs comply with NERC, IEEE, and client standards.
Provide testing, commissioning support, and field startup assistance.
