Ilocatum seeks an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to lead load studies, develop comprehensive electrical construction packages, and craft detailed specifications suitable for PE stamping. The role includes BOM coordination, field verification, and startup support.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, strong NEC/IEEE knowledge, AutoCAD proficiency, and experience with ETAP/SKM/EasyPower. Travel up to 25% and a discretionary bonus are possible benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
FE exam completed or in progress preferred.
5+ years in electrical power design and construction packages.

Responsibilities

Lead development of electrical power load studies.
Create construction packages for PE stamping and plan checks.
Develop electrical power specifications and BOMs; coordinate with vendors.
Perform field verification of existing E&I infrastructure and equipment.
Support startup, commissioning, and after-hours client needs.
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure quality and budgeting.
