Software Placement Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Design Engineer to lead load studies, construction packages, and power system specifications for diverse clients on-site. You will drive PE stamping readiness, vendor coordination, field verifications, and commissioning, with 25% travel. A discretionary bonus for overtime and ESOP are included, along with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in electrical construction and design for PE-stamped packages.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEEE 3000 series requirements.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical power load studies.
• Prepare PE-stamped construction packages for plan checks.
• Develop electrical power specifications for construction.
• Coordinate BOMs and vendor pricing for equipment.
• Conduct field verification of existing E&I infrastructure.
• Perform factory acceptance testing and commissioning of power equipment.
• Provide after-hours support for clients.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on deliverables and change orders.
• Assist in cost estimates and proposals for new opportunities.
• Travel ~25% of the time, by air.
