Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Electrical Construction Foreman to supervise installation and repair crews on ground-up projects in California. You will act as the primary site supervisor for smaller jobs, coordinating materials, manpower, and schedules with the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, safety focus, and experience directing crews on electrical installations, with bonus for lighting projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass drug and background screen.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Positive customer service skills.
• Experience in crew leading and/or acting as foreman on ground-up construction projects.
• Experience in lighting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and run electrical installation or repair crews.
• Serve as the primary jobsite supervisor on smaller projects.
• Perform working estimates and take-offs with the Project Manager.
• Lay out work and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower.
• Establish work schedules and man-loading charts.
• Direct crews in installing electrical feeders, pumps, motors, generators, switchgear, relays, panels, lighting, outlets, and terminations.
• Monitor work and schedule according to job pace and other trades.
• Handle or oversee office correspondence and safety reports.
• Ensure safety performance and compliance with safety processes and protocols.
• Investigate or assist with investigating jobsite accidents or safety incidents.
