Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead the commercial electrical team on projects in California.

You will plan, coordinate, and supervise installations, ensure NEC standards, and meet deadlines while supporting service work between construction phases. The role requires six+ years as a journeyman and at least two years as foreman, strong problem solving, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights or travel.

Qualifications

• Six+ years as a commercial electrical journeyman.
• Minimum two years as foreman, preferably from retail construction.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Strong English literacy; able to communicate with management.
• Willing to work nights or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the commercial production of electrical journeymen and apprentices.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics or plans and layout work for journeyman and apprentices.
• Perform toolbox talks and training to electrical apprentices and/or journeyman.
• Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Install various types of conduit, raceway and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot motor control systems.
• Communicate with project managers and safety teams regarding jobsite progress.
• Demonstrate and enforce quality electrical journeyman installation and jobsite safety
