Survey Field Technician / Crew Chief – Morgantown, WV

Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H) is currently seeking a motivated Survey Field Technician (Crew Chief) to join our growing survey team in Morgantown, WV. The qualified individual will perform land survey work, including topographic and boundary surveys, construction stakeout, and as-built surveying procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD drafting and design.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Complete boundary, construction, and topographical surveys utilizing GPS, conventional Total Station, and leveling.
  2. Keep proper field notes and sketches for all work performed.
  3. Manage a survey crew efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in land survey, engineering drafting technology preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with conventional and GPS survey equipment and software, including Trimble, Leica, and Nikon.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with land survey.
  • Valid Driver’s License, acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR), ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
